I am based in Seven Sisters near Neath close to the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.
I am a qualified Mountain Leader and Climbing Wall instructor including Abseil Module. I hold Gold level National Navigation Award Scheme, Tutor Award and Tutor Award Directorship. I have completed Foundation Safety Rescue Training and Paddlesport Instructor. I am a British Cycling Mountain Bike Leader Level 2 award holder. I hold Outdoor First Aid. I can offer guided walks within the Brecon Beacons (please contact me) and NNAS at Bronze, Silver and Gold level. Also the NNAS Tutor award. If you would like a guided journey on Mountain Bike then this can be arranged. I can deliver the British Heart Foundation - Call Push Rescue course. I am a qualified Archery GB instructor. |
I am a Gold Assessor for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and have been involved with the award for over 25 years.
I am available to work with groups in relation to Duke of Edinburgh training or assessing. I volunteer with the Army Cadet Force in all navigation and expedition training and all aspects of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. I am ably assisted by my daughter Stephanie, she holds Outdoor First Aid, Mountain Training Lowland Leader Award and Camping Leader award. She is a qualified Climbing Wall instructor. She holds NNAS at Gold level including the Tutor Award. She has completed her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and also holds Fundamentals of MTB leadership. She is a UK Youth Ambassador for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and The Outdoor Partnership, a youth warden for the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park and a Staff Cadet with the Army Cadet Force.
